How do we keep our accounts in Profit?
The secret to maintaining profit when betting on Horses is having the ability to pick winners, but also to manage losses.
Some people choose laying to do this, but in my experience the liabilities involved with this method make it extremely dangerous. You can be betting to win a £10 note, but have to risk over £100!
That’s not an attractive risk to reward ratio. You only have to miss once, and that’s 10 bets worth of profit wiped out instantly.
So how do we maintain an attractive risk to reward ratio, whilst also maximising our returns?
Well we know that we can’t pick the winner from every race, and we know that the favourite in a race is going to lose around 60% of the time, getting beat by an outsider.
We back shorter odds favourites, and we back outsiders too. This way we have all bases covered.
Now you might be thinking, what if the favourite wins? We’ve then wasted our stakes on the outsiders!
This brings us to the second part of our method.
Quite simple. We utilise the place bet, or more accurately, the Each Way bet.
The place part of an Each Way bet on longer odds selections is our loss limiter. The win part is our profit booster.
So now, even if the favourite wins we can still make returns from our Each Way placements.
If the Each Way bets win, they always cover the entire days stake on that race and some profit on top, and this still leaves us with an opening for more profit with our other each way bet.
We always back at least 3 runners in a race;
1-2 Win Only Bet – This are shorter odds favourite
2-3 Each Way Bets – These are both always longer odds selections, but both are calculated to also have a strong chance at bringing in a win, so an even stronger chance at placing.
Remember, even a place on these means we lose no money on that bet and can make a small profit.
These are the keys to the method, but obviously we need to be able to find those winners!
That’s my job, and that’s what you pay me for.
Using my method, we target between 1-4 races per day and we pinpoint the horses with the best chance of not only winning, but making a return.
We don’t bet every day, so we only pick the best races with the highest chance at bringing in profit.

Q. How many bets will you advise each week?
A. We bet on 1-4 races per day, so thats anywhere between 3-16 bets. However, we don’t bet every day so you need to take that into account. We will rarely bet on Sundays.
Q. What is your recommendation for staking?
A. Staking is entirely your choice. I recommend a starting bank, and I recommend how many points you should look at placing on each selection, but the stake should be based on your available bank. As the profits accrue, you can re-invest this into a larger bank as time goes on and increase your winnings using that method.
Q. Do I need to be online at the time of the Race to place the bets?
A. This is a fire and forget method, and the bets will be delivered to you every evening at about 9pm. This way you can get the bets on, and get the prices I quote or close to them.
